Summer High School

With Metro Continuing Education’s Summer School, you can complete a 5-credit high school course in four weeks!

Choose from a variety of 10-, 20- and 30- level subjects to complete required courses, upgrade your marks or create more flexibility in next year’s timetable. Summer School courses are also open to students who need to complete their high school diploma for post-secondary pursuits. Summer High School credit courses are offered in a variety of locations around Edmonton.

Registration dates:

  • June 15 – Last day to register for summer evening classes
  • June 17 – Last day to register online for morning classes
  • June 25 – Last day to register by phone or in person

Summer School – Diploma Courses (30-level courses)

The following sites are open to all students registering in a 30-level diploma course. Diploma exams are held from August 1 – 10, 2018 at Harry Ainlay | 4350 111 St. NW.

Please note that students registered in a diploma course(s) are required to write their diploma exam(s) at the end of Summer School. » August diploma exam schedule

Open Sites: The following sites are open to all students registering in non-diploma courses.

Note for Phys. Ed 10: Field Trip Consent Form will be handed out on the first day of class.

Note: Students are expected to attend all classes. If you must miss class due to medical or compassionate reasons, please submit an Exceptional Circumstances Request (pdf).
