- As a student learning through an asynchronous program, the student will schedule their own learning. This replaces an in person or an online synchronous program and the student will be designing their own schedule. Designing an individual schedule provides strength and flexibility while working through the same curricular objectives that would normally be covered during ‘regular class time'.
- Students enrolled in this program will have the flexibility to work through their learning at their own pace. Students need to be attending to their learning daily in the asynchronous program. Teachers in the asynchronous program will be available online once/week for students to connect with their teacher. Teachers will also be available during their weekly scheduled office hours for asynchronous students. Students must complete their asynchronous courses within the deadlines of the semester.
- Students enrolled in the asynchronous program for Semester 2 will be invited to an initial meeting with their teacher to go over the layout and expectations of the course.
