Fast track programs

15.5 hours/week for 8 weeks

Pick up the pace! Pick up the pace with Metro’s Fast Track Program. It’s intensive, fast-paced, and best suited for students who are already familiar with the course content and have ample time to dedicate to their studies. Note: Students may take one class per quarter.

Course delivery methods explained

Online Synchronous
(Live Online Teacher Instruction)

Students will meet with their teacher on specific dates and times each week; attendance is mandatory. In this online teacher directed program, students have the opportunity to learn with their peers and to be part of an online learning community. A teacher will be teaching during every scheduled class.

Online Asynchronous
(Online Self-Paced Teacher-Supported)

For students 20 years of age or older on September 1, 2021

Students will be included in a learning community while having the flexibility to access their learning at their desired time within a week. Attendance in an asynchronous program is based on work completion and engagement in online learning activities. A teacher will be available on a weekly basis to connect with students about their course.

Hybrid
(In-Person & Live Online Teacher Instruction)

Students will meet with their teacher both online and in-person on specific dates and times each week, attendance is mandatory. In this hybrid teacher directed program, students have the opportunity to learn with their peers and to be part of both an online and an in-person learning community. A teacher will be teaching during every scheduled class.
