Course details

English 10-2

In the English 10-2 program, students will develop a variety of reading, comprehension and writing strategies and well they will respond to texts at a variety of different levels of sophistication. This course sequence satisfies the English Language Arts requirements for a high school diploma and it will prepare students for some post-secondary programs.

The 10-1, 20-1, 30-1 course sequence challenges students to develop a level of sophistication in their literary analyses and written expression, making 30-1 the necessary prerequisite for most university faculties and other post-secondary institutions.
