Coronavirus information for Metro students

In alignment with the Alberta Government’s direction, we would like to give the following updates on Metro’s programs:

Summer School 2021

All core courses and CALM will be delivered online with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. Physical Education 10 will be delivered as an onsite, in-person class following COVID-19 guidelines. More information will be provided in the weeks leading up to class start.

Summer Camps

Summer Camps will continue to be offered online for summer 2021.

Academic evening and weekend credit classes

Due to an increase in community transmission of COVID-19, our Metro Evening and Weekend High School Credit Classes are moving online until further notice.

Adult Continuing Education

Adult Continuing Education classes are being offered online. To explore our online learning class options, please visit our Online Learning page.

Beyond the Classroom

Out-of-School Programs are being offered online. Beyond the Classroom sessions keep kids and families connecting, learning, and creating on weekday evenings, Saturdays, and non-school days.

English Language Institute 

All classes and assessments for LINC and ESL are online until further notice. Visit our Student Resources page for additional information and supports.
