Courses meet for as few as one class or as many as ten classes.
Metro Adult Continuing Education courses are held throughout Edmonton to accommodate students. Many courses meet at the Metro Continuing Education main site, 8205 - 90 Avenue and the Metro Annex site, 8610 - 81 Street. A variety of courses meet off-site at other Edmonton Public Schools and private businesses. Location directions, including a map, are noted along with the course information under ‘site’ and ‘location’.
Room assignments are posted at each Metro site daily. Classroom assignments are subject to change weekly or even daily – please be sure to check the listing before each class to ensure you make your way to the correct classroom.
Students attending courses at Metro Continuing Education are asked to park in the stalls facing north on 90 Avenue and the fenced area on the west side of the building. Additional evening parking is available at Metro Annex at 8610 - 81 Street, just south of the Bonnie Doon swimming pool. View the Metro site map (pdf). Students who park in other areas are asked to please be aware of the posted signage as some parking stalls facing south on 90 Avenue (against the school) are 24-hour reserved stalls. Metro Annex students are asked to park on the residential road east of the Annex. If your class is at an alternate Metro site, directions for parking will be included on your registration confirmation as well as the course reminder email.
