LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada)


Study English, learn about living in Canada and make new friends. LINC is free to all newcomers (permanent residents) to Canada who are not yet Canadian citizens. LINC is offered in five levels, from complete beginner to Level 4. You will receive language training, orientation to the community, Canadian cultural experiences, and assistance in helping you develop the skills you need to live in a Canadian community.

Situated across the street from Bonnie Doon Mall, the Annex is easily accessible and located on major Edmonton bus routes.

Sakaw School (SA)

Sakaw School is located on the south east end of the city. This location offers a free child-minding service to children between the ages of 19 months to preschool.

Part-Time LINC

J.Percy Page School (JPP)

J.Percy Page School is the only location that offers Metro students part-time LINC courses. Registration for part-time LINC courses takes place the first Monday of every month from September - April, 5:45 - 6:15 pm.
