Experienced Metro staff can simplify the funding application process and help students who wish to apply for financial help from Alberta Student Finance. For information about funding, contact 780.917.8656.
Metro's Academic Success Programs high school credit courses are approved by Alberta Student Finance.
Funding Plans Available
Part-time bursary (non-repayable) students may be eligible for part-time funding if they:
- have been out of school for a 12-month period at any given time after leaving high school
- are Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- are able to demonstrate financial need
Bursaries for part-time study are intended to assist with tuition, books, childcare and travel costs. Apply six to eight weeks before classes begin. Bursaries can be used for high school credit courses.
